STA Jets Sees Significant Growth in First Half of 2013 Including Increases in Staff, Facilities, Fleet and Revenue

SANTA ANA, California – Aug. 1, 2013 – STA Jets, a leader in executive charter, aircraft management, and aircraft sales and acquisition services based at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, CA, has announced significant growth in several key areas of the business.

STA Jets has quickly grown to become one of the country’s most successful charter and aircraft management services firms. It is currently the only provider of heavy jet charter aircraft out of John Wayne Airport. Acquired in 2009 by Kurt Belcher, the company’s current CEO and president, STA Jets grew from one aircraft to nine within its first year.

The first half of 2013 has seen the achievement of several milestones in the firm’s ongoing expansion and evolution. The addition of new employees has doubled the STA Jets staff, and its offices are undergoing expansion, all to accommodate growth. Five aircraft, three Challengers and two Gulfstreams, have been added recently to its well diversified fleet. In addition, revenue increased 50% in the last fiscal quarter.

“Not only are we very pleased and proud of our accomplishments within the country’s private jet charter and support services business, but we are encouraged to see our growth as part of a wider improvement in the overall economy,” said Belcher, who was recently honored among OC Metro magazine’s annual “40 Under 40” recognitions.
